The Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation has announced their slate of candidates for their general election.

Running for chief are incumbent Karen Bird, the challengers Darrell MccAllum, Tracy Merasty, Ovide Michel, Peter Beatty, Melville Linklater and Joseph McKay.

Elections will be held in Pelican Narrows, Sandy Bay and Deschambault Lake on April the 9th. 14 councillors will also be selected.
