(February 2, 2012)  In his report Superintendent Blaine Veitch remarked on the good news for the Division in relation to the Neighbors Helping Neighbors school program.  He said thanks to the generous donations from the local Pharmasave the many programs that benefit this Division’s students will be able to continue in good financial standing.  Veitch also gave thanks to Shelly Rhino and Dave Gunn for donating a full drum kit to McIsaac School and a bass guitar for Hapnot and for their involvement in the band program over the years.

              On Friday McIsaac School will host the Asperger 101 workshop that features an introduction to the world of children and adults with the autism spectrum.  The public is encouraged to attend from 9 to 11 A.M.

              Board Chair Murray Skeavington encouraged all interested to attend the public budget meeting February 22nd at 7 in the Division office.
