The silent killer

(February 2, 2012)  The Heart and Stroke Foundation is presenting a public education session on blood pressure in Flin Flon Monday.  Regional Outreach Manager Maureen Owens says the session is called high blood pressure the silent killer and they are going to take an in depth look at high blood pressure and specifically will learn what it is, how it’s measured, how often it should be measured, what causes high blood pressure, complications and what you can do to control your blood pressure.

The session will be held Monday through Manitoba Telehealth at the Flin Flon General Hospital from noon to one.
