(Febraury 3, 2012)  Creighton Community School and the Border Explorers Snowmobile Club are holding a snowmobile safety course next Saturday.  School Coordinator Carol Sutherland says it covers what you need to know to be a safe rider.  She says the course will involve some classroom instruction and hands on training.  Topics will include rules of the road, pre-start safety check, safe operating procedures, trail riding survival and ice safety.  Sutherland adds the registration will be 50 dollars with the Border Explorers and Creighton School helping to offset the registration fee by picking up the other 25 dollars.

              The course will be held Saturday, February 11th from 9 to 1 at Creighton Community School. You can contact the school to register with the deadline for registration being Wednesday.
