(February 6, 2012)  Nominations are being accepted for the Women of Honor Awards.  The Women’s Resource Center’s Colleen Arnold says women from Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach and Cranberry Portage can be nominated in five categories including the Young Woman of Distinction award and nominees must be between the ages of 18 and 30, they have a Lifetime Achievement award which recognizes a woman who during the past 40 years has made a profound difference in the lives of our community and they also have the Professional Innovation award, the Community Legacy award and the Neighborhood Legend award.

              Nomination forms are available at the Friendship Center, Women’s Resource Center, Primary Health Care Center, on line at www.womensresource.ca or call 681-3105 by February 16th.  Women nominated must be able to attend the International Women’s Day luncheon on March 8th.
